Traffic Accident Testimonial
I was rear-ended several years ago on 96th Street by a large truck. For the first few days, I was in a lot of pain, and then it developed into severe back spasms that even affected my breathing.
I ended up seeking treatment within about seven days. At first, I saw a doctor at an outpatient clinic.
The pain didn’t go away — it just kept lingering. Within about a month, I started seeing Alan Johnson for treatment. I was receiving injections, and he recommended chiropractic care, but that didn’t help and actually seemed to make things worse.
Eventually, we settled on a treatment plan that included injections, muscle relaxers, and deep tissue massages, which helped keep the pain under control. But it was still very difficult, and the pain is still there today.
I can’t golf anymore, and I try not to do anything that might aggravate it. The medications also made me feel foggy and mentally unclear, which created even more problems for me.
The impact was pretty severe, and I immediately thought it might be serious. At first, we just exchanged driver’s licenses and insurance information. But later that evening, the back pain really started to set in, and I realized it was probably much more serious than I originally thought.
I started missing work, and it became difficult to concentrate. My focus was off, and the medications affected me professionally because I constantly had to choose between taking the medication and feeling foggy, or dealing with the pain without any relief.
At that point, it became pretty scary. I started wondering if this was going to be a lifelong issue.
When the medical bills started coming in and I realized this was going to be a long-term issue, I decided to reach out and hire an attorney.
I was nervous about everything — my medical condition, the uncertainty, and whether this was going to become a lifelong ordeal.
When I came into Justin’s office, he was warm, compassionate, and willing to listen. He took the time to understand all the details, asked thoughtful questions, and really wanted to know exactly what had happened and what I was experiencing in terms of pain and treatment.
He was very thorough and detail-oriented, but the main thing I remember is that he genuinely cared.
We met several times throughout the process. There were even occasions when Justin came to my apartment to meet with me because I wasn’t feeling well enough to travel.
He truly went the extra mile to help achieve a resolution and secure the best possible outcome for me. He couldn’t fix my back, but he could help make sure I had the support and resources I would need moving forward.
Justin could clearly see the pain I was in and the struggles I was dealing with. I’m sure he also noticed the decline in my mental and physical health as the process continued, and he recognized that it was becoming a serious issue.
Justin was a major ally for me. He assembled a team that worked closely with me throughout the entire process. Like I said, they were very detailed, took the time to document everything, and genuinely cared about getting the best possible outcome.
They wanted to make sure we had a successful result, and I always felt very confident and comfortable with Justin and his team.
Even if the outcome hadn’t gone in our favor, I still felt like Justin did everything possible to make sure I was properly represented and that the truth would come out. That was extremely important to me because I felt like the insurance company was trying to suggest that I wasn’t being truthful. They even attempted to make me look bad in court.
I wasn’t feeling well that day and almost missed the court date because of the medications I was taking.
A great way to reach us!
