Workers Compensation Testimonial

Well, actually, I was at work, and I had told one of my supervisors — I had three supervisors above me — that the wheels on the cart were messed up. They kept saying, ‘We’re going to get it fixed. We’re going to get it fixed.

For some reason, I always ended up being the one who had to use that cart and push it all the way up to the patients’ rooms. One day, as I was pushing it and trying to turn it, one of the wheels locked up. When that happened, my shoulders suddenly snapped. I actually heard the snap. ever since then, I’ve been dealing with pain and injuries from it.

Yeah, it was very painful. Right away, my boss told me to go over to the other building since it was a hospital and get checked out because I was already in a lot of pain when it happened.

So I went and spoke with a doctor, and he told me that I needed to have it examined further. He gathered all the information from me and later had me come back for cortisone shots.

After that, they put me on light duty for a while, but I still had to do some lifting. Eventually, I just had to leave the job because I was still in so much pain.

My arm and shoulder were so bad that I could barely even put a shirt on by myself. The cortisone shots helped relieve some of the pain, but only a little.

Well, I felt like I needed to get everything sorted out because I didn’t have Medicare or Medicaid at the time, and I was worried about how my medical bills were going to get paid.

So I came in and talked to Sarah. After I explained my case to her, she said, ‘Oh, sure. I can take this on and see what I can do with it.’

From that point on, everything just started falling into place. She told me to bring in all the information I had regarding my medical treatment and doctor visits.
