So, what I was looking for in an attorney was someone who was honest and willing to be there to answer my questions — someone who would call me back when I had concerns or didn’t understand something, and who could explain how the legal system worked, especially when it came to going to trial and everything involved in the process. A lot of that was especially important because of the trauma my son experienced from the car accident.

Unfortunately, my son was a passenger in a car when his friend made the wrong decision to turn in front of another vehicle. The other car struck the side where my son was sitting in the back passenger seat. There was really nothing to protect him cars these days are basically made of plastic.

The other vehicle was traveling around 55 miles per hour, and my son saw it coming. He instinctively turned, so the impact hit his side, causing severe injuries. It shattered his liver and spleen. It was an extremely serious car accident.

He died four times. The doctors wanted us to take him off life support twice, but we said no — there had to still be something there. Later, they told us that he might survive, but that we would need to place him in a care facility because they didn’t believe we would be able to take care of him and thought he would remain in a vegetative state.

Today, he goes to college, drives, and acts like a typical obnoxious 19-year-old.

So unfortunately, we had to find someone because of all the medical bills and everything else we were facing. I started searching online and spent quite a bit of time looking into different personal injury lawyers in the area. Frank’s name kept coming up, and he had such great reviews.

So I called him, and he got back to me within a reasonable amount of time. He sounded genuinely interested in helping us. My husband and I came in to meet with him, and that’s how we unfortunately got to know Frank. He was very kind and always available whenever we had questions.

Because my son was 17 at the time, we also had to set up a conservatorship, which was something I had never dealt with before. Like I said, unfortunately, I’m old enough to have worked with different lawyers throughout my life, but I had no idea how a conservatorship worked, what it involved, or how to handle any of it.

Frank was very helpful in getting everything set up. He actually went to court with us and appeared before the judge to establish the conservatorship. It’s a pretty complicated process with a lot of moving parts. For example, you have to find a bank that will accept the conservatorship account and handle everything properly.

Frank guided us through the entire process because we truly had no clue what to do.

And then, about a year and a half later, my son turned 19 — actually, it was almost a year ago now. Frank was there for us again. Even though we hadn’t seen him in over a year and a half, he was still incredibly helpful. He assisted us with going to the bank, handling the paperwork, and taking care of everything needed to release the conservatorship on the money my son had been awarded.

So, I’m just really grateful for what this team has done because they made everything so much easier to deal with. When people think of lawyers, they often compare them to used car salesmen, but he completely changed that perception for our family.

I can’t speak for everyone else, but he’s been amazing for us. Like I said, if someone were to ask me about him, I would absolutely tell them to hire him without even thinking twice. The support and care we received from him meant everything to our family.

Yeah, in the past I’ve had lawyers and had to go through the court system, and you would call them and not hear back for days. You wouldn’t know what was going on — whether we were going to trial, not going to trial, or what the next step even was.

But when it came to Frank and his team, they always kept us informed about what was happening. And if we had questions, they always answered them. It was just such a genuinely positive experience. I really can’t say enough good things about them.

We never had to worry about whether our lawyer was doing what needed to be done for us. We truly felt like he was working for us personally. He wasn’t just somebody’s lawyer — he was our lawyer, and he cared about helping our family.
